This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Operator Signals. You can contact us about anything in this notice at hello@operatorsignals.co.uk.
What we collect and why
When you request a sample: your name, company, work email, industry, the geography and offices you mention, what you are interested in and anything you write in the form. We use it to reply, prepare a sample and discuss whether our service suits you.
When you book a meeting: your name, email and the answers you give when booking. We use it to hold the meeting and prepare for it.
When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to send, so that we can reply.
When you visit the site: our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.
Our lawful basis
We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and developing business relationships, and, where you ask about our service, on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers, each acting on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website and delivers our email.
- Google, which provides our email inbox, calendar and video calls.
- Cal.com, which provides meeting booking.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards. We do not sell your personal data or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and meeting details for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep what we need for the length of the relationship and any legal requirements that follow.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, and to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or object to our using it. Where it applies, you can also ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation. To make a request, email hello@operatorsignals.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
